> Use this Nimki opening checklist to review business setup, service flow, menu availability, tables, staff access, billing and preparation before service.

## Give the shift a good beginning.

A few deliberate checks help the team begin with the same picture. Review the setup, the people and the path an order will take.

### Check the essentials.

Business, service, menu, tables where needed, billing and access.

### Check the people.

Make sure the right staff can open the tools they need.

### Check one complete flow.

Walk through the handovers before relying on them in a busy shift.

## 01 · Review how this location serves.

Confirm table service, counter service or both. Check the preparation choice and counter payment timing. Use Nimki’s service preview to talk through the intended sequence with the team.

## 02 · Make the menu and floor ready.

Review available dishes, prices, choices and preparation stations. Imported dishes need deliberate publishing. Check the relevant tables, floors and areas, with cleaning and unavailable states reflecting the actual room.

## 03 · Check access and billing.

Confirm staff activation and device approval. Let each person open their workspace and check their responsibilities. The owner should review saved billing, tax and receipt setup rather than treating a guide as confirmation.

## 04 · Review stock and the drawer.

Check ingredient attention and any purchases waiting to be received. Staff with the appropriate access can review the cash drawer shift and opening amount using the supported drawer workflow.

## 05 · Follow the actual handovers.

Confirm who sends the order, who prepares it, who serves or hands it over, and who finishes the bill. Validate the devices and printing arrangements you intend to use. Completing a walkthrough is helpful practice; it does not certify setup or hardware readiness.

## Questions & answers

### Does finishing Getting started automatically complete setup?

No. Guide progress is separate from business readiness and completed transactions. Review the actual saved setup and any outstanding checks.

### Who should confirm the billing setup?

The owner should review and confirm the business’s saved billing setup. Staff guidance does not replace that owner action.
