Make sure the right staff can open the tools they need.
Walk through the handovers before relying on them in a busy shift.
Confirm table service, counter service or both. Check the preparation choice and counter payment timing. Use Nimki’s service preview to talk through the intended sequence with the team.
Review available dishes, prices, choices and preparation stations. Imported dishes need deliberate publishing. Check the relevant tables, floors and areas, with cleaning and unavailable states reflecting the actual room.
Confirm staff activation and device approval. Let each person open their workspace and check their responsibilities. The owner should review saved billing, tax and receipt setup rather than treating a guide as confirmation.
Check ingredient attention and any purchases waiting to be received. Staff with the appropriate access can review the cash drawer shift and opening amount using the supported drawer workflow.
Confirm who sends the order, who prepares it, who serves or hands it over, and who finishes the bill. Validate the devices and printing arrangements you intend to use. Completing a walkthrough is helpful practice; it does not certify setup or hardware readiness.
Good to know
